This 240-acre park and retreat center is the Greenville County Recreation District’s jewel in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It offers a beautiful natural setting, a fantastic camp and retreat center, and picnic areas.

The Camp and Retreat Center is a barrier-free facility that is perfect for gatherings large and small and can host groups for dining, activities, meeting space, and over-night stays. Luttrell Lodge is a 4,000-square-foot dining and meeting facility with full food service, stage, sound system and more. Bi-Lo Charities Fireside Hall is a 6,000-square-foot open air facility featuring a stage, sound room, and canteen. The Camp and Retreat Center has eight modern, comfortable and climate-controlled cabins that can sleep up to 160. Each cabin has a sitting area, small kitchen, four bunk rooms, private bathrooms, and a covered deck. The Camp and Retreat Center features the universally accessible “Know Boundaries” Challenge Course, a zero-depth entry pool with splash pad, activity areas, archery, primitive camping, and more. Pleasant Ridge Camp and Retreat Center is home to amazing therapeutic camps like Camp Spearhead (for individuals of all ages with special needs), Camp Courage (for children with cancer and blood disorders), Camp Luv-A-Lung (children with breathing disorders) and MDA Camp (for children with neuromuscular disorders).

The cabins for rent at the camp and retreat center are for retreat center use only. The primary amenities in the park are the three picnic shelters and 8 miles of share used hiking and mountain biking trails.
